Why am I running for this seat?

The Minisink Valley School District is undergoing huge changes in the coming months. 

As of July 1 we will soon have a new:

(1) Superintendent (2) Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum (3) Assistant Superintendent for Business (hired January 2010) (4) Athletic Director

This is a very crucial time and I have decided to seek election to this seat because I feel that my experience from having served on our school board for fifteen years (1992-2007) can be an asset to our community.

More than ever our board is going to have to set very high goals for our new superintendent and make certain those goals are attained.

My knowledge of the district's history having served on the:

(1) Building and Grounds Committee having been very involved in Capital projects in all of our buildings (2) Athletic Committee (3) Transportation Committee (We are currently building a new bus garage.)
